CD-ROM "Latvia '98" originates from a multimedia that was developed for "EXPO 98" in Lisbon. After passing the product to organizers of the exhibition, the multimedia disc was improved and enriched with new information. "Latvia 98" is a result of nearly six months efforts. Our objective was to create a general and emotionally vivid informative directory about Latvia that would reveal it as dynamically growing country with rich history, multiform social life, rapid economic development and excellent cultural heritage. "Latvia '98" was highly appreciated by various State institutions of Latvia, particularly, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Latvian Embassies abroad.
